ABOUT US

Every year the Society of Mexican Students in the United Kingdom, together with the student societies, put together the Annual Symposium of Mexican Students and Studies, which is a yearly meeting that aims to provide a platform for everyone that is doing research to present their work to the Mexican Community in the UK in a friendly atmosphere. It also provides a space to engage with the Mexican and Latin community to share experiences and discuss their ideas with their colleagues.

The event will be hosted by the University of Edinburgh on the 16th – 18th of June, 2016. For information about getting to Edinburgh and accommodation you can go here.

 About the team

We are all students at the University of Edinburgh, and you can know more about us here.

 About the language

Even when the Symposium is organised by the Mexican Community in the UK and we all speak Spanish, it is important to consider that some of the guests, speakers and people interested in the event might not speak our language. For that reason, the only language for the talks, posters, the communication and even the Social Media is English.
